copper etchings, japan
A collection of copper etchings as part of my graduation project in Tokyo, 2006. The project was a music school, floating on the water, and these etchings depict architecture as well water-related themes, such as the Itskushima Shrine in Japan, Frank Lloyd Wright's falling water, the Notre Dame Cathedral on the river Seine, as well as the Ceasarea Roman amphitheater by the sea. Other images include musical instruments such as the Japanese Koto, references to rhythm and water.
One of my deepest passions is travelling the world, and documenting what I see.
