ratzif boutique store

Branding and interior concept design of this shop represent a platform (train/port) including bold colors and the experience of walking in and out of seemingly large cargo crates made of simple veneered plywood. Completed in 2013, the design includes the detailing of metal colored shelving, plywood cashier desk and fitting-rooms, entrance space pegboard and plywood display installations and storage gallery. The design concept behind the store Ratzif in Tel-Aviv was based on a harbor platform so that many elements in the store related to it both within the interior space and in the logo. The logo resembles a crane, the red-white striped letter paper as well as the interior floor resemble warning signs on the platform, while the wood plywood represents cargo crates found in harbors.

Design concept: abstract playground for adults, including a swing in the display window, climbing ladders on which shoes are hung, a shoe-fitting wooden bench with a children's horse-head toy with handles for bag-hanging. Materials include OSB boards with original prints, custom-made ironwork and carpentry, mirrors concealing existing elements, reflecting passers-by in the street and adding store depth.

levana cafe / jaffa

The renovation and preservation of an original Jaffa space, with 4.5 meter high ceilings. The design included: complete branding, iron windows and doors, new facade design, seating area for some 50 clients, a service bar cladded with wooden strips and internal counters, an authorized service kitchen, bathrooms cladded with authentic patterned tiles, and wood flooring. Complete furniture, textile and lighting design including an upholstered sofa, a communal table, a custom-designed "tree-lamp" as well as designed wall elements from the nearby flea market. Design concept was the juxtaposition of the local flea market in which the cafe is located, with sleek minimalist modern lines, while keeping the space sunny, lofty and airy.
